Welcome to our new home. The new website is finally here. While Bruno Roy created the original version, I had to make quite a few adjustments to make the website working and fitting for our league, our non-NHL teams, the league settings that are different from what other leagues have. Also I wanted to change the appearance a bit. So, it took a little longer than first anticipated. Thanks to Bruno for providing very responsive support via email!

But I think it was all worth the wait!

Before you head off to explore, please read the following:

There are still errors and bugs. In fact quite a few of them. For example at the very top of the page you cannot scroll back to games played before today. Workaround: use the Schedule in the Menu.

If you encounter any errors, please tell me about them. For that purpose the #playerror channel has been renamed to #bugreports. Please tell me anything that was not yet reported.

A few general issues or points to consider:

- Player pictures: they should be there for all players who have a picture on their NHL.com page. If you have a player who doesn’t have a picture, but should have (NHL.com), tell me. probably the NHLID is set wrong. Pictures from other sources cannot be implemented. 
- Career stats: Some of them are there, but I have not yet finished migrating. Player stats from players for Season 22 until today are there. But since this is a work in progress, no need to send in bug reports. 
- Password: There is no real login on the new website. The password is needed to trigger certain actions (create news, change lines, make trade…), so the website will ask for it when you try to do one of those things. It is not needed for everyday browsing. 
- Scoreboard: to get to the Boxscore, you have to click on „Final“ ;) 
- Standings: it’s a bit buggy. When you load the Standings, the Conference based standings should be visible, however there is no visual cue about the playoff places and the last two columns are empty. Below that there is the Power ranking. Clicking on Power Ranking in the top menu doesnt work. 
- Trades: At the top right, there are a few icons with the links to the league rules, the league file download, etc. The handshake icon allows you to enter a trade. The handling is pretty straightforward. One GM is entering the trade (chousing the teams, and players/picks etc.), the second is confirming (by clicking on „Confirme trade Already Entered by First GM“). If usure, you can see the pending trades by clicking on, well „View pending trades“. 
- Rosters/Lines: you can edit rosters and lines on the website. It’s behind the hockey stick icon in the upper right menu. For some reason, it doesn’t allow to change the rosters (gives an error about the „Farm Salary Limit“. I will have to talk to Bruno about this.) You can however change your lines, and it works quite well, very similar to the GM Client on Windows. 
- Old Boxscores: for technical reasons the links to boxscores of older games don’t work. The website is looking for a PHP file, but we have those boxscores as HTML only. Workaround: when you get the error message „Not Found“, click in the address field of the browser and manually change the file suffix from php to html hit enter and the boxscores are there.

I have probably forgotten many things, so please be patient. Not everything works as it should, but apart from the visuals, this is a huge step towards the future!
